Cancellation, Refund & Return Policy

We aim to make shopping at Soltlane transparent, fair, and customer-friendly. This policy explains when you can cancel an order, when returns are accepted, and how refunds are processed—especially for international shipments.

1) Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placement by contacting us at sales@soltlane.com.
  • After 24 hours, most orders are processed for dispatch and cancellations may not be possible. If you contact us, we will assist to the best of our ability.
Tip: For fastest help, share your Order ID in the email subject line.

2) Returns Policy (When Returns Are Accepted)

Because we sell authentic printed books, we accept returns only in specific cases to protect product quality and fairness.

  • Returns are accepted only for damaged, defective, or incorrect products.
  • Returns for “change of mind” are not accepted.
  • Return requests must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the order.
  • Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
Please do not return items without approval. Contact us first so we can confirm eligibility and provide return instructions.

3) Damage / Defect / Wrong Item — Reporting Window & Evidence

  • If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Email sales@soltlane.com with your Order ID, Tracking ID (if available), and clear photos of:
  • Outer packaging (including label)
  • Inner packaging
  • Damaged/incorrect item close-ups
After verification, we will arrange a replacement or a refund for eligible cases, including shipping where applicable.

4) Refund Policy (How Refunds Work)

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase.
  • Refunds generally cover the product price. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item was damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  • If your order included free shipping, the actual shipping cost incurred by Soltlane may be deducted from the refund.
  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after approval; your bank/payment provider may take additional time to reflect the amount.
  • Refunds are issued in the original payment currency. Any conversion rates or bank/provider fees are outside our control.

5) Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to damage, defect, or incorrect shipment, Soltlane will cover the return shipping cost (for eligible cases).
  • For other approved cases (rare), customers are responsible for return shipping charges.
We will guide you on the best return method and address after approval to avoid delays and extra charges.

6) Non-Delivery / Lost in Transit

  • If your order does not arrive within the expected delivery window, contact us immediately and we will track the shipment.
  • If the parcel is confirmed lost, we will either send a replacement at no extra cost or issue a full refund, as appropriate.

7) Important Exclusions (Not Eligible)

  • Digital/downloadable items are not eligible for return or refund.
  • Opened/used items are not eligible for return or refund.
  • Returns for “change of mind” are not accepted.

8) Customs, Refused Deliveries & Unclaimed Parcels (International Orders)

International shipments may be subject to customs duties/taxes and local carrier procedures.

  • Customers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT/GST, or import fees charged by the destination country.
  • If a parcel is refused, unclaimed, or returned to origin due to unpaid duties/taxes or unsuccessful delivery attempts, reshipping costs may apply.
  • Where a refund is approved for such returns, any non-recoverable shipping/handling costs incurred may be deducted.

9) How to Request a Cancellation / Return / Refund

  1. Email us at sales@soltlane.com with your Order ID and request type (Cancellation / Return / Refund).
  2. For damage/defect/wrong items, include clear photos within 48 hours of delivery.
  3. Wait for approval and instructions before sending anything back.
  4. After return approval and inspection (if applicable), we will process replacement/refund as per this policy.

10) Policy Updates

Soltlane reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
